Purpose of Position

The Line Service Technician supports the daily facilitation of an aircraft while promoting the quality of the private aircraft ownership experience. The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Perform aircraft marshalling using standard visual and verbal signals to coordinate safely with ground personnel and flight crews during aircraft movement, including directing turns, slowdowns, stops, and engine shutdown procedures as needed. 
•    Conduct wing walking to ensure aircraft clearance, operate tow tractors, position aircraft on ramps and in hangars, and place chocks to secure aircraft.
•    Maintain hangar cleanliness by disposing of garbage/waste, stocking and restocking supplies, and performing general cleaning of the hangar, equipment, and aircraft.
•    Perform or coordinate routine maintenance and minor repairs of ground support equipment, including tow tractors, lavatory and water carts, portable stairs, ground power units and cables, and manlifts, etc.
•    Load and unload passenger baggage, assist with passenger transportation to and from aircraft, support crew turnaround requirements, and provide backup support for guest service staff when needed.
•    Monitor aircraft arrival and departure schedules to ensure adequate ramp operations coverage. Communicate and coordinate with flight crews and maintenance personnel to support efficient aircraft hangar/ramp parking placement.
•    Responsibilities may vary by individual. Managers will communicate role-specific expectations and priorities.
