Purpose of Position
Act as a liaison between the FAA and other company departments during the Aircraft On-Certificate process. Controls, monitors and updates the maintenance inspection system and quality of incoming parts, components, and tools.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and review each inspection for all Company aircraft per the FAA approved CAMP and inspect Company aircraft as required
- Reviews all Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Changes, and other pertinent data, to determine compliance requirements
- Ensure quality control of the Company Aircraft, parts, components, tools and test equipment
- As needed, accomplish new aircraft physical surveys and On Certificate Check List to establish equipment status and determine discrepancies to be repaired.
- Ensure inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the maintenance facility in complying with all applicable CFRs and manufacturer's recommendations

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
- Proficient in the ability to read, write, interpret, and use basic arithmetic and grammar.
- Ability to follow instructions to completion
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Previous experience working in an airline, aviation, business jet or fractional aviation operation as a licensed
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician or equivalent position. Experience must be in the last two years.
- Proficient in the comprehension of Aircraft Inspection Programs, Manufacturers Maintenance Manuals, Air Carriers/Operator's Operations Manuals, FAA Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Orders, Notices, Advisory Circulars, and other government agencies documents.
- Ability to apply prior experience to use procedures, forms, manuals, instructions, work orders and design data.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, EXCEL, PDF) and maintenance systems.
