Purpose of Position

The Vice President, Aircraft Management Sales is responsible for driving growth and expanding Executive Jet Management's (EJM) Aircraft Management market share within an assigned geographic territory. This role develops and executes strategic sales initiatives to identify, engage, and secure new aircraft management clients while strengthening EJM's presence and reputation within the business aviation community.

The successful VP is expected to proactively pursue qualified aircraft management opportunities through disciplined prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling activities. Key activities include identifying and qualifying prospective clients, conducting market and competitive analysis, developing targeted sales campaigns, networking within the aviation industry, generating referrals, and cultivating long-term relationships with decision-makers. The VP will guide prospects through the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and needs assessment through proposal development, contract negotiation, and successful account transition to operational teams.

Success in this role requires a highly driven and relationship-oriented sales professional capable of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes, articulating EJM's value proposition, and serving as a trusted advisor to aircraft owners and operators. The VP is expected to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, consistently achieve sales objectives, and represent EJM with the highest level of professionalism and customer focus.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and communicating standard and customized Management Services presentations and materials/proposals to qualified prospective customers. Negotiating and entering into profitable long-term Management agreements.
  • Meeting annual sales quotas established by the Senior VP, Sales while remaining within predefined expense budgets. Expanding EJM's Aircraft Management services business in the defined market through proactive selling techniques that include prospecting. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the service offerings available through EJM and NetJets.
  • Networking with aviation service provider representatives including aircraft manufacturers, maintenance facilities, refurbishment facilities, financing groups, Aircraft Sales Brokers, Consultants, FBO operators, local business members, Tax professionals, Charter Brokers, NetJets personnel (esp. NetJets sales representatives) and flight departments (Chief Pilots, Aviation Managers, Dispatchers, etc.).  
  • Managing and documenting all sales activities within the EJM Sales database system, including timely synchronization with the company-wide system. Manage prospective sales call activity so as to maximize the number of visits conducted in a single travel event. Prepare weekly sales activity reports to include sales activity; including number and type of sales calls conducted, key prospect status/activity and future sales activity/forecasts. Attend and actively participate in scheduled sales meetings. Provide analysis of territory (market potential, competitor intelligence, etc.) to Regional VP, Aircraft Management Sales. Provide Senior VP, Sales with accurate and timely expense report documentation.

  • Demonstrated success selling complex, high-value products or services to senior executives and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and influence decision-makers through a consultative sales approach.
  • Experience leading sales teams and driving performance against established revenue goals.
  • Strong executive presence, presentation skills, and ability to articulate value over cost.
  • Proven success generating business through proactive prospecting, networking, referral development, and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Self-directed, resilient, and capable of overcoming customer objections and navigating complex sales cycles with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and CRM-based sales processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within an assigned territory.
  • Experience in private aviation or related luxury, transportation, or high-touch service industries is preferred.

Base Salary Range

$85,000 - $125,000
