Purpose of Position

Lead and oversee initiatives that optimize airport access, infrastructure partnerships that provide improved accessibility, and digital integration related to airport access, ensuring the company’s network supports long-term operational excellence and an exceptional Owner experience.

Priority locations and regions will be identified annually in line with business objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Identify, develop and execute strategic opportunities that will drive mid to long term improved airport access, by promoting internal synergies between Operations, Procurement, Legal, Security, Sales and Service, to ensure that NetJets offers unparallelled access and strengthens its leadership position.
•    Assess and recommend infrastructure improvements and/ or investment opportunities such as hangarage, apron space, and support facilities, in close collaboration with Sales, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Owner Experience, that enhance operational resilience and reliability.
•    Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key partners, by conducting on-site visits and meetings as required, ensuring the company’s network supports long-term operational excellence and an exceptional Owner experience, pushing for our competitive edge while ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
•    Define and lead the implementation of the airport access strategy and initiatives that ensure operational readiness and business continuity, developing a resilient network of primary and alternate airports, using performance intelligence and internal stakeholders input to anticipate access constraints and deliver recommendations to NetJets Europe Leadership Team.
•    Develop and maintain a centralized airport access intelligence, delivering strategic dashboards and decision-support materials, capturing access conditions, constraints, risk levels, and mitigation strategies to support informed decision-making across the organization.
•    Ensure all activities are aligned with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and Compliance Monitoring Programme, maintaining operational integrity in line with EASA/ICAO requirements. 
•    Identify and promote opportunities for digital connectivity and systems integration with airports and FBOs to streamline slot management, handling coordination, and special service arrangements, while protecting sensitive operational and Owner data through cybersecurity and data governance frameworks.
•    Participation and attendance in selected industry forums and conferences towards collecting updated intelligence, to support NetJets’ strategy while maintaining its position as business aviation leader and pioneer.
•    Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported.
•    Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

Bachelor's in Business Administration or Aviation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

•    Relevant professional certifications and qualifications in aviation and/or degree in Aviation, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 
•    Minimum of 8 years of professional experience overall, and of specifically in aviation operations, access management or infrastructure planning. 
•    Knowledge of EASA regulations and aviation industry best practices. 
•    Strategic thinker capable of translating performance data and intelligence into strategic plans and actionable operational strategies. 
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders (internally and externally) and cross-functional teams. 
•    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
•    Ability to manage multiple airport access initiatives (projects) simultaneously, prioritizing risk, impact and feasibility. 
•    Fluency in Business English (written and spoken), other languages are a plus.
