Purpose of Position
The CAMO Regulatory Specialist shall support the CAMO Regulatory Manager in the review and implementation of Regulatory requirements and internal procedures and systems which support the on-going Safety and Compliance requirements for the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and in the training delivery for the Maintenance Department in coordination with the Training Department, ensuring full compliance with regulatory (EASA, UK CAA, ANAC and Portuguese law) and technical training requirements. This includes the definition of training syllabus and contents to be delivered either by the Training Department of external training organisations.
Effective collaboration and efficient coordination are essential with each of the Maintenance groups, to understand the training requirements and to deliver engaging training experiences to the teams. #LI-Hybrid
Tasks and Responsibilities
• In coordination with the CAMO Regulatory manager, the CAMO Regulatory Specialist is responsible for the update of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), the supporting NetJets Maintenance Procedures (NJMPs), and Forms to remain compliant with all applicable Regulations (National Authority (ANAC / EASA / FAA / TC etc.) and aligned with CAMO requirements;
• Support to the CAMO Regulatory Manager on the approval’s requests (exemptions, AltMoC, etc.) to be submitted to the National Aviation Authority – NAA (ANAC and CAA UK), contracted maintenance organizations and aircraft manufacturers, supporting the maintenance contracts in liaison with other NetJets departments, assuring best aircraft maintenance practices, efficiency, effectiveness and highest level of service;
• Renew the Aircraft Station License Certificates (ANAC and UK CAA) and request new originals (in case of lost) of Certificate of Registration, Noise Certificate or Certificate of Airworthiness.
• Perform all ANAC notifications related to the CAMO activities (ex: ADDL, RIE);
• Responsible for the timely follow-up of both Internal and External Audit findings, ensuring the identified root causes and corrective actions continue to support the Safety and Compliance requirements of the CAMO;
• Support with the management of fleet projects (i.e. Mandates), and that the implementation of product enhancements are effectively supported and coordinated with the respective NetJets departments (i.e. Procurement, Customer Services, Maintenance & Flight Operations, etc.) and are aligned and compliant with Regulatory and CAMO requirements;
• Promote the Continuous Improvement Process within the teams to ensure a continued focus on Safety Reporting (incl. JUST Culture), Compliance and process efficiency;.
• Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;
• Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.
Core Competencies
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
• Aviation related Engineering degree or extensive aviation operational experience and regulatory knowledge or Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field with extensive aviation operational experience and regulatory knowledge.
• English CEFR Level C1 or C2.
• Good technical writing skills.
• 5 years of experience within a managerial or operational role in aviation related with CAMO Regulatory requirements.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the EASA regulations (Part-CAMO, Part-M, AirOPS, CS-23, CS-25, CS-26) and UK CAA, NetJets Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO) requirements, Maintenance procedures (NJMPs) and processes.
• Effective business and operational analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
