Purpose of Position

Participate in the daily management of NetJets crew member support programs as part of the Company Safety Management System to ensure the safety of our aircraft and occupants is not endangered. Provide crew members with any personal support need that is not related to their career development within NetJets to perform their duties with the highest levels of safety.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Alert the Head of Aviation Safety and the appropriate responsible manager immediately concerning any significant safety issue;
  • Participate in the management of crew mental well-being support program that ensures access to proactive and non-punitive support to assist and support crew in recognising, coping with, and overcoming any problem that might negatively affect their ability to exercise the privileges of their license safely;
  • Participate in the management of a program for the prevention and detection of misuse of psychoactive substances by flight and cabin crew members and other safety-sensitive personnel to ensure that the safety of our aircraft or occupants is not endangered;
  • Plan and organize the required routine random and ad-hoc psychoactive substance tests for crew members and other safety-sensitive personnel in accordance with applicable regulations and NetJets internal procedures;
  • Provide appropriate training and promotion to NetJets crew members to improve their awareness and understanding of crew mental well-being and misuse of psychoactive substances;
  • Support the maintenance of CSIM and peer support programs available to all company crew members;
  • Process safety reports and the required safety investigations related to crew wellbeing, health, injuries, and CRM breakdowns in accordance with applicable legislation and the NetJets safety management system;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of risk-mitigating actions related to crew members’ human factors;
  • Monitor crew members’ cosmic radiation exposure and take immediate actions in accordance with applicable regulations and NetJets internal procedures;
  • Ensure the protection of safety data and recordings in accordance with applicable regulations
  • and NetJets Just Culture policy;
  • Maintain good contact with appropriate industry organisations and sources to ensure that NetJets continues to develop and maintain the best safety practices and standards;
  • Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;
  • Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

-    University degree;
-    Experience in providing support and managing complex processes.
-    Preferential knowledge in aviation regulations
-    Preferential experience and knowledge of Employee relations
-    Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
-    Proficiency in MS office.
