Purpose of Position
Oversee the maintenance programmes, procedures and propose maintenance practices, methodologies or aircraft modifications; schedule aircraft maintenance inspections and coordinate maintenance actions to ensure compliance with manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements, aircraft availability, reliability, and safe operation. Maintain, develop, monitor and audit the Computerised Maintenance Tracking Systems (CMTS) and aircraft configuration baselines to ensure accuracy of technical data and continued compliance with the Approved Maintenance Program and internal processes. Manage Service Level Agreements deliverables and maintenance costs to achieve operational and financial Company results.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Analyse and determine the short and long-term planning of aircraft maintenance, by liaising with stakeholders (Charter, Flight Care, Owner Experience, Owners, and Service Centres).
- Monitor individual aircraft maintenance status reports and CMTS updates to guarantee that required inspections and time change components are timely accomplished in accordance with the Approved Aircraft Inspection Program (AAIP) / Approved Maintenance Program.
- Procure slots, schedule, monitor and control aircraft maintenance actions performed by approved maintenance service centres to ensure maintenance is timely and efficiently completed with minimum downtime.
- Oversee subcontracted CAMO deliverables within the scope of the CAMO Subcontract Agreements, supporting delivery through issue escalation and follow up to closure, and formally reviewing and accepting deliverables as compliant with EJME standards and requirements.
- Develop, update, and optimize aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL’s), in liaison with Flight Operations, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, aircraft dispatch capability and safety.
- Develop, update, and optimize AAIP / maintenance program data and associated CMTS baselines to ensure compliance with EASA and ANAC requirements and manufacturers’ recommendations, improving availability and safety.
- Load new aircraft types and baselines in CMTS; load delivered aircraft technical data to initialize inventories and tracking of mandatory and non-mandatory items in accordance with regulatory and Company requirements.
- Load and maintain CMTS records for Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and equivalent documentation to ensure fleet compliance and accurate tracking.
- Recurrently audit the Approved Maintenance Programs / AAIP requirements versus CMTS baselines to ensure accuracy, consistency and traceability of the CMTS database.
- Provide daily support to maintenance operational teams (e.g., Management (MNG)/ Subcontractor Aircraft Maintenance Control Centre (AMCC)/ Subcontractor Return to Service (RTS)/ Subcontractor Maintenance Program Technicians (MPTs) to resolve CMTS problems/issues occurring during operations, preventing delays and safeguarding system accuracy.
- Liaise with IT for creation and improvement of CMTS reports and other maintenance IT/AI tools (e.g., Maintenix, C365, DMI, Waypoints) to ensure efficient tools and accurate data presentation; prepare and provide related training to department personnel.
- Analyse, review, and negotiate maintenance proposals, to control costs while maintaining EJME standards and requirements; review and approve maintenance Contract Change Orders to control additional maintenance scope and costs.
- Coordinate with Owners on maintenance cost approvals; monitor and validate invoices within the approved budget to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Provide maintenance support to flight crews to enable timely technical decisions upon Aircraft on Ground (AOG), unscheduled and scheduled events; manage maintenance events to guarantee maximum aircraft availability, improved maintainability, cost efficiency and aircraft safety.
- Analyse and recommend Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer Service Bulletins; oversee the Continuous Analysis and Surveillance Program by reviewing reliability data and proposing aircraft modifications to improve fleet availability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Review and update the Continuous Airworthiness Management Exposition and internal procedures to enable Company and department certification in accordance with EASA and ANAC requirements.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with competent Authorities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), vendors and Owners; inform relevant operational departments affected in case of grounded aircraft.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
Engineering degree or equivalent academic/technical qualification (e.g., Part-66 AML License, University Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree).
3 to 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance within a Part-CAMO/Part-M and/or Part-145 maintenance organization.
Formal technical training in aircraft maintenance.
Excellent aircraft technical manual interpretation skills and familiarity with OEM technical records data (MM, IPC, CMM, SRM, etc.).
Reliability data interpretation & analysis experience; strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Good knowledge of EASA, FAA, ICAO and ANAC/NAA regulations and requirements.
Ability to prioritize and manage numerous aircraft database/system events to ensure maximum aircraft utilization with system accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office; recommended knowledge of IT systems and data tools (Excel, databases) and advantageous knowledge of VBA/SQL.
Fluency in Business English (written and spoken).
