Purpose of Position

The Five Senses Onboard Product Specialist, Junior is responsible, in close coordination with the key stakeholders, for supporting the consistency, quality and relevance of the on-board product portfolio across the NetJets Europe fleet. The role maintains oversight of all consumables and non‑consumables, collaborating with the relevant stakeholders on usage trends and product performance to support the Five Senses team with insights that will help assess each product lifecycle. The Specialist will continuously evaluate sourcing processes, ensuring a balance between the right products for Owners and logistics, brand, and budget considerations, supporting the Five Senses team in further elevating the Owner experience efficiently. Ultimately, the position looks after a product portfolio that enhances the experience and supports operational efficiency.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Support the efforts on finding the right replacement for consumable and non-consumable products that have been targeted for a refresh, by identifying potential suppliers and products, managing samples, associated tasting/testing and implementation, in collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders, in line with budget, brand and logistic operational considerations.
•    Assist the Five Senses team with the innovation, identification and sourcing of the products and Concept Development in line with the department’s strategy and roadmap, as well as logistics, brand and budget considerations.
•    Support product sample sourcing, keeping a detailed record of such samples through an effective sample tracker. 
•    In close collaboration with the appropriate internal stakeholders, keep a track record of all products, dates of inception, suppliers, costs, weight and product performance, enabling the information to be available to the Five Senses team on a self-service basis and providing insights to the team on it for proper product life-cycle management.
•    Work in close collaboration with internal teams in the upkeep of accurate related documents - including all onboard product specifications and details

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

•    University degree preferred.
•    Previous experience in product management within the consumer goods industry (non-IT).
•    Knowledge or experience of the aviation industry is a plus.
•    Experience working with premium brands or high‑end consumer goods is a plus.
•    Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple objectives to meet timelines in a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities.
•    Strives for positive results, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a drive to achieve results independently within operational guidelines.
•    Ability to understand and master new concepts quickly.
•    Fluency in Business English (written and spoken). 
•    Good Project Management skills for taking a product or concept from idea, through testing, approval and launch with strong cross‑functional coordination.
•    Proficiency in MS Office, with a good level of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
