This Curricular Internship is targeted at students in the final year of their Bachelor's degree or currently attending a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related engineering field. We are seeking a motivated and curious student with practical programming experience, a passion for developing production software, and a hands-on, analytical mindset who is eager to work with real operational data. The ideal candidate is keen to work with object-oriented programming languages, databases, version control, and software testing practices, and enjoys designing solutions, integrating systems, enhancing existing applications, and delivering reliable software that supports real-world aviation operations. 

About the Project: This project supports the evolution and resilience of NetJets’ fuel data management programme. The focus is on modernising how fuel data is captured, validated, and reported—enhancing data integrity, traceability, and audit readiness across fuel-related operational workflows. As part of the project, you will contribute to initiatives such as the migration of the existing fuel database to SQL Server, the transformation of prototype tools into production-ready applications, and the adaptation of software solutions to new flight planning formats, data validation rules and database structures. You will also be involved in the software design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing real-world applications used in a real aviation environment while contributing to fuel-related operational excellence and innovation at NetJets.
