Title:  Health & Safety Risk Analyst (NJE)

Purpose of Position

Manage the Health & Safety hazard/safety issue identification, risk assessment and management, and safety assurance activities of the NetJets Health & Safety Program for all UK employees, and its integration with the Company safety management system. #LI-Hybrid

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Daily management of the Health and Safety program for all NetJets UK employees;
•    Responsible for processing, hazard assessment, and follow-up Safety Crew Injury reports;
•    Support the Crew Absence Monitoring Programme by conducting data analysis and developing monitoring metrics to assist the Crew Support Lead in managing the programme; 
•    Support the Company safety reporting system, by conducting safety and crew injury report analysis, including risk classification, identification of event contributing factors and need for risk mitigating actions;
•    Conduct safety data analysis through effective data mining and statistical analysis with the aim of identifying operational and health & Safety hazards/safety issues, including flight safety, human factors and crew health and safety;
•    Responsible for development of aggregated safety data analysis and data visualisation tools for the Safety team, using all safety data sources: Crew Support, FRMS, SRS and FDM. To ensure relevant personnel and stakeholders have appropriate visibility of risk within their functional area;
•    Conduct risk assessments and support the management of the company risk register, to ensure that NTA risk register accurately reflects the risk profile of NetJets operations, particularly in respect to Health & Safety hazards;
•    Support the company risk management process through supporting internal stakeholders in conducting risk assessments and support risk assessment validations;
•    Support the management of the company risk register to ensure all identified hazards are assessed and risk assessment are maintained updated;
•    Monitor the implementation of risk mitigation actions and respective effectiveness.
•    Support NetJets safety training and promotion programmes to ensure that all NetJets team members have an awareness of safety management principles appropriate to their role and ensure the continuous improvement of NetJets safety culture and awareness;
•    Support the maintenance, testing and training of the Emergency Response Plan to establish adequate procedures and actions to be followed in aircraft related emergency situations;
•    Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;
•    Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

•    Degree in appropriate subject or equivalent professional experience in Safety Management System;
•    Knowledge of Health & Safety programs in accordance with UK and EU regulations
•    Knowledge of safety management principles and practices;
•    Knowledge of data visualization tools;
•    Knowledge of human factors principles is highly desirable;
•    Fluency in Business English (written and spoken).
