Purpose of Position

The Human Resources Business Partner contributes to company performance by aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, communicates needs proactively between the HR department and business management, develops integrated solutions, delivers value-added service and is an employee champion and change agent. Performs, advises and anticipates HR human resource-related issues and needs

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Act as the first, and preferential, point of contact for the employees and managers for HR related topics;
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs 
  • Provide assigned business areas’ directors and managers with the appropriate HR Indicators (HC, absenteeism, turnover, overtime, etc) tools, knowledge and solutions to effectively manage their unit in line with NetJets principles and goals;
  • Collaborate with the HR team to identify trends and metrics and to develop new/ improve existing programs and policies.  Also support the HR Department with HR projects, including engagement, diversity and employee voice;
  • Consult and deliver new/ amended policies and procedures;
  • Actively respond to all HR queries and escalation of matters where appropriate, oversee employee relations counselling; 
  • Work in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues. Build management responsibility and capability for managing ER issues and improve the effectiveness of consultation;
  • Support business area on disciplinary/ grievances and other employee issues for consistency and fairness;

  • Organizational design and headcount
  • Help maintain a high-performance culture by coaching leadership teams;
  • Provide both transformational advice and transactional support (contracting in services throughout HR where required) on change management initiatives, organisational/ departmental restructures, job role design, recruitment/redundancies situations, etc) in order to improve cost and efficiency, clarify accountabilities and empower delivery of department goals;
  • Employee Experience
  • Coach and advise on a variety of components impacting the employee experience: 
  • Develop and coordinate engagement and retention processes in accordance with NetJets needs and legal requirements.
  • Provide continued support to development and delivery of company processes among employees.
  • Support the company talent reviews and succession planning process, 
  • Performance management
  • Lead on the execution of Performance Management processes and initiatives in accordance with the overall strategy :  
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, policies, guidelines
  • Support in defining goals, providing feedback and improvement opportunities
  • Advise managers and employees on complex performance issues providing solid guidance on legal and regulatory trends.
  • Follow up on PIP and subsequent actions.
  • Provide continued support and monitor the delivery of the Performance Management Process;
  • Support the continuous development of competency framework, guaranteeing effective linkage with all HR related processes;
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals;
  • Recruitment
  • Develop, support and deliver recruitment and selection processes according to NetJets policies and principles;
  • Facilitate a smooth on-boarding and offboarding process for employees, 
  • Identify short, medium- and long-term resourcing issues. Build and maintain the local manpower plans;
  • Talent Development & Talent Management 
  • Drive, advise and support the organisational change with organizational structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives;
  • Support the business area with the management development of their people; 
  • Lead the implementation and rollout of Talent management cycle, training, running talent reviews, and following up on development plans’ implementation;
  • Lead succession plans to critical positions;

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • University degree in Human Resources or relevant HR specialization;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role;
  • Solid knowledge of Employee Relations and Employment Law;
  • Competent with the full range of MS Office suite and HRIS;
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken).
