Purpose of Position

Responsible for proactively monitoring all undergoing scheduled maintenance events and for controlling the associated maintenance actions being performed by approved service centres, on NTA, NATUK and EJME fleets, while ensuring compliance with the NetJets approved maintenance procedures and the recommendations of the Aircraft Manufacturer, Original Equipment Manufacturers and Governing Authority guidelines. Responsible to ensure optimised working practices are adopted, with attention to minimising downtimes and to maintain the overall Safety and Continuing Airworthiness of the Aircraft, Flight Crew, Maintenance Personnel, and the Customers. Provide support to all external and internal customers for any maintenance events and technical requirements by applying knowledge and effective communication and collaboration.   #LI-Hybrid

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Apply the NetJets Safety Policy and Management System requirements and ensure all team members are ambassadors of the company safety requirements;
  • Ensure disciplined working practices are applied, providing consistency and compliance with defined policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for prioritising, managing, and addressing work assignments to achieve an effective outcome;
  • Ensure the Aircraft Status Reports, MEL (Minimum Equipment List) reports, Inspection due lists, Electronic Tracking Data and other reports are reviewed diligently and proactively actioned to maintain an accurate status of the aircraft fleets;
  • Monitor and perform regular daily follow-ups, with the Service Providers, of all the work order contents for NTA, NATUK & EJME company aircraft to ensure a controlled release to service date, anticipating potential arising maintenance issues and avoiding maintenance overlaps;
  • Ensure all maintenance actions accomplished on NTA, NATUK & EJME company aircraft comply with NetJets CAME & Maintenance Procedures and Regulatory (EASA, ANAC and UK CAA) requirements;
  • Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Tracking System work orders with current status notes to provide awareness to management enabling timely decision making for maintenance activities;
  • Review all Engine & APU work order repairs documentation to ensure they have complied with the required maintenance actions as per NetJets CAME & Maintenance Procedures and Regulatory (EASA, ANAC and UK CAA) requirements, and ensure they are ready for installation in the Computerized Maintenance Tracking System;
  • Ensure aircraft historical records are maintained in accordance with the NetJets Maintenance Procedures;
  • Support the Maintenance RTS Supervisor with the accomplishment and requirements of the defined annual audit program;
  • Review, control, and approve maintenance contract change orders proficiently to ensure the control of costs associated with NTA, NATUK & EJME work orders are in accordance with the Approved Expenditure Approval Matrix;
  • Coordinate, source, and ship, in conjunction with NTA materials group, the required aircraft parts, data and support equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime;
  • Report any aircraft continuing airworthiness activities or events, which potentially impact safety and compliance, through the established procedures;
  • Ensure all company and departmental applications are utilised as requested, by management, and in accordance with company defined policies;
  • Notify all relevant departments (i.e. OCC, Scheduling and Flight Operations) in the event maintenance line extensions have an impact on the Operation and the Customer;
  • Ensure that transportation arrangements for non NJE maintenance personnel travelling to support any NTA, NATUK & EJME company aircraft requested to Travel department are efficiently and timely completed;
  • Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft technical maintenance or;
  • Minimum 3 years’ aviation experience in n a Part-145 or CAMO Maintenance control environment;
  • Good knowledge and interpretation of EASA regulations and requirements;
  • English language proficiency – B2 / C1 level.
