Title: Manager, Owner Contracts (NJE)

Purpose of Position
The Manager, Owner Contracts is responsible for (i) protecting the legal and financial interests of the company through the diligent and accurate processing of all Owner contracts; (ii) managing the team in contract preparation, execution and record keeping; (iii) working with internal and external business clients to resolve escalated issues and continually improve existing processes (iv) maintaining and updating all IT systems to ensure the contracting process is as efficient as possible; and (v) track metrics to ensure all contracts are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manages a team of Contract Specialists, ensuring we hire the right resources into the team and all individuals meet the established service standards and metrics.
- Trains and evaluates new and existing team members, reviewing contract cases completed and providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Documents and maintains comprehensive resource of Contracts departmental processes.
- Identifies systems improvement opportunities, and works closely with the IT team to implement changes, ensuring that process and template changes are applied in a timely manner.
- Works closely with the Legal team to conduct regular audits and reviews of preapproved language and processes to proactively identify and execute on opportunities to improve.
- Conducts regular audits of Contracts team work to proactively identify and remediate any issues, ensuring that Contract data is accurate and reliable.
- Assists Sales and Legal with the structure and drafting of the Letter of Confirmation for complex transactions.
- Identifies and implements initiatives for the Contracts team to provide greater support to Sales to accelerate the closing process.
- Acts as the internal subject matter expert for Contracts, including processes, standard clauses, conditions on active agreements and provides training and updates to the wider business.
- Works with internal and external business clients to ensure that deals are closed within the department's service standards.
- Builds and maintains dashboards to track and analyse departmental metrics and ensure service standards are being met.
- Obtain actionable insights from Contracts metrics on Sales and Team performance that can be utilised or shared with relevant stakeholders for optimisation.
- Ensures the accurate and timely management of GDPR Consent preferences of Owners for the purposes covered by the Contracts Team GDPR management requirements.
- Lead and motivate team members in their areas of expertise and through performance metrics, driving for a culture of excellence and results;

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law or other related field
- 5+ years of experience in a contracts management or legal operations role
- Demonstrable experience in a team leader or managerial role
- Experience in Salesforce, Conga or other Contract Management System, IJet, , Microsoft Word, Excel and document template tools such as HotDocs or XAuthor.
- Excellent grammar and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to lead, counsel, coach and delegate responsibilities to others in a way that will engage all members of the team to accomplish departmental goals
