Purpose of Position

The Scheduling Specialist’s primary purpose is to contribute to the efficient, safe, and cost-effective scheduling of flights, encompassing EJM Europe operations. Collaborate in optimizing the allocation of resources, including aircraft and crew members, to maintain operational excellence. Assist in managing flight schedules, ensuring compliance with international and national regulations, and strategically utilizing internal and external resources. The role involves addressing defined and straightforward problems using existing standard technical/operational procedures or methods. Apply basic technical/operational skills in operational processes to perform routine and straightforward activities within the area of expertise.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Develop and maintain flight schedules based on operational requirements, aircraft availability, and crew assignments;
•    Coordinate with crew members and Ops Planning to ensure timely and efficient flight operations;
•    Monitor and manage flight delays, cancellations, and changes, adjusting schedules as necessary;
•    Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and EJME policies regarding scheduling and crew duty limitations;
•    Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize resource allocation and track schedules;
•    Communicate with various stakeholders to provide updates on flight status and schedule changes;
•    Assist with logistical arrangements for flights, including ground transportation and accommodations as needed;
•    Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;
•    Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

•    Degree in Aviation, Transportation, or a related field (preferred);
•    Previous experience in aviation scheduling or operations is highly desirable.
•    Proficiency in scheduling software and aviation management tools.
