Purpose of Position

The Aircraft Appearance Standards Coordinator, Lead, is responsible for coordinating and executing Aircraft Appearance Standards cleaning events to ensure aircraft mission readiness. This includes the development and use of standard operating procedures, checklists, reports, and vendor coordination. The Aircraft Appearance Standards Coordinator, Lead will support departmental initiatives and projects by setting the example for how the Aircraft Appearance Standards policies and procedures are executed. This will include facilitation of initial training for new hires and recurrent training for all changes to the Aircraft Appearance Standards program. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Assist the Aircraft Appearance Standards Supervisor with the oversight of the Aircraft Appearance Standards schedule coverage. Including coverage of Aircraft Appearance Standards functions as needed to ensure operational coverage and mission-ready aircraft. 
•    Analyze and report key departmental operational trends and report to Management.
•    Facilitate training for all Aircraft Appearance Standards training. Including new hire training, recurrent training, and vendor training.
•    Development and execution of standard operating procedures, checklists, reports, and vendor training materials. 
•    Provide exceptional customer service to internal employees and vendors.
