Purpose of Position

The Analytics Engineer supports the delivery and operationalization of NetJets’ enterprise analytics and AI ecosystem. This role focuses on implementing technical solutions, supporting analytics workflows, and assisting in the delivery of dashboards, data pipelines, and AI/ML solutions. The individual ensures high-quality analytics outputs and contributes to the development of scalable tools and processes under the guidance of senior analytics engineering staff.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Platform Reliability & Operational Excellence

• Support maintenance, configuration, and monitoring of cloud-based analytics platforms and dashboards.
• Assist in troubleshooting system issues, validating pipeline and dashboard quality, and escalating complex problems.
• Support user onboarding, access management, and lifecycle management of analytics tools and platforms.

Infrastructure, Automation & System Design

• Implement scripts, pipelines, and automated processes to improve platform stability, governance, and efficiency.
• Assist in the adoption of modern analytics engineering practices, including version control, reproducible notebooks, and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with peers to support the delivery of analytics solutions that translate business priorities into actionable insights.

Best Practices, Analyst Enablement & Methods Support

• Assist in maintaining documentation, standards, and training materials to promote consistency and governance compliance.
• Apply established best practices for data visualization, analytics, and responsible AI usage.
• Support training and coaching initiatives for peers and junior team members.

AI, Automation & Advanced Analytics Enablement

• Assist in developing AI and machine learning proof-of-concepts and maintaining reproducible notebooks.
• Support analysis of model outputs and metrics to ensure fairness, interpretability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to scale AI solutions operationally.

Technology Evolution & Platform Support

• Assist in the evaluation of emerging BI, data, and AI technologies.
• Support pilots, experimentation, and platform modernization activities under guidance from senior analytics engineering staff.

Business Partnership, Insights & Analytics Delivery

• Help translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, supporting clear recommendations and visual storytelling.
• Partner with colleagues to improve the delivery of insights, AI/ML solutions, and visualizations across the enterprise.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (Snowflake, Tableau, AWS).
• Solid foundation in Python, SQL, and scripting/automation tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools preferred, such as AWS Sagemaker and Bedrock
• Ability to analyze data and contribute to actionable insights.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work effectively across teams.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies a plus.
