Purpose of Position
The Cabin Management Systems and Inflight Entertainment Program Manager is a critical and specialized role to assist with the strategic vision, integration and optimization of cutting-edge Cabin Management Systems (CMS) and Inflight Entertainment (IFE) solutions across NetJets fleet of aircraft. This role will prepare the business for changes and ensure responsibilities and processes are well understood and documented. This person must have deep technical knowledge, and strong understanding of Owner expectations in the private aviation sector, and the ability to deliver tailored, high-performance CMS and IFE solutions that exceed the standards of premium air travel.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Accountable for the business coordination and execution associated with CMS and IFE processes and technology changes. Serve as primary business owner for the associated product offering and oversee all project implementation.
• Define and drive the CMS and IFE systems utilizing the available/next-gen technology, leading the design of innovative, immersive experiences that reflect the NetJets brand’s luxury positioning.
• Executes against a business roadmap that leverages key partners across the organization, such as Procurement, IT, Marketing, Maintenance, Sales, Operations, Owner Services, Digital Development Team, and Asset Management.
• Creates and builds partnerships with technology to create an execution roadmap about specific business needs and capabilities. Leverages the agile framework to build delivery timelines that align with business changes.
• Leverages business knowledge to influence business process changes and recommendations.
• Leads and demonstrates a strong discipline for documentation and holds others accountable for delivery.
• Leverages financial and KPI goals to drive changes and implementations that provide business benefits.
• Drives organizational change management activities to ensure the success of change implementation including process documentation, testing and training.
• Oversee the integration of cabin management systems (CMS), streaming media services, and secure business communication tools on board, collaborating with Procurement and Maintenance to align on system compatibility, installation constraints and long-term support.
• In close collaboration with Procurement, Maintenance and Asset Management for both in-service and upcoming new aircraft, work with vendors and service providers, ensuring systems are certified, reliable, and future-ready.
• While working against a global business connectivity strategy, work together with MROs, completion centers, OEMs and Maintenance to innovate new, system upgrades and retrofits.
• Evaluate and implement network management systems to monitor, analyze and optimize the performance of installed systems across the fleet; leverage insights to enhance reliability and user satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional project teams across Maintenance, IT, Procurement, and Asset Management to deliver initiatives on time, on budget and aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and milestones, applying agile and traditional project management methodologies as appropriate to ensure high-quality delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and connectivity certifications, as it relates to CMS and IFE.
