Purpose of Position
The Contracts Specialist, Associate is responsible for the administration of non-negotiable (or minimal negotiable) agreements, including Fractional Binder Agreements, and 25 Hour Lease Agreements. The Contracts Specialist, Associate will work directly with internal and external partners on execution and closings of all transactions, including positioning aircraft for closing, apply for and record International Registry registrations, and supporting all required FAA filings. This is the introductory level position to the Contracts Specialist career path for fractional transactions.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Drafts and negotiates, when applicable, all Fractional Binder Agreements and 25 Hour Lease Agreements. Ensures proper contract fulfillment in accordance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Ensures all transactions are completed in a timely, effective, accurate manner and provides an exceptional contracting experience for Owners during the contract process.
- Collaborates with Sales Teams, as well as internal and external partners (Legal, Revenue Operations, Finance, Owner Services, Marketing, and others as necessary) to represent the Contracts Team and the Program.
- Manages and supports the execution and closings of all transactions, including positioning aircraft for closing, applying for and recording International Registry registrations, and partnering with outside counsel on all required FAA filings.
- Participates in special projects as required and proactively streamlines procedures and processes for the Contracts Team.
