Purpose of Position

The FP&A Manager plays a critical role in driving financial insight and decision-making for assigned operating departments within NetJets, Inc. This role leads financial planning and analysis activities that support strategic initiatives, improve operational performance, and enhance overall profitability.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to executive level strategic initiatives by performing financial and operational analyses that support decisions to improve Company performance, profitability and safety.  
  • Help provide strategic direction for assigned departments through forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Manage professional staff throughout these deliverables to ensure their timely, relevant, and accurate completion.    
  • Implement short- and long-term strategy for the FP&A group and successfully manage completion of group objectives. 
  • Coach, develop, and mentor the professional staff to include complete performance management plans (including mid-year and annual reviews and IDPs). 
  • Effectively identify, implement, and communicate profit enhancing analyses to all levels in the organization including executive level leadership.     
  • Provide analysis necessary to assigned departments to manage their financial and operational targets. Educate departments on company profit drivers and their role in helping to achieve company financial goals.  
  • Develop project plans as required and manage to establish deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • 6+ years of experience in financial and operational analysis within a planning and forecasting environment

  • 2+ years of people leadership and/or project management experience, including leading, coaching, or mentoring teams

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan or other enterprise planning tools strongly preferred

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights to cross-functional and senior stakeholders
