Purpose of Position
The Flight Center Content Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering, and maintaining knowledge-based resources that enable both agents and leaders across the Flight Center. This role ensures that process changes, training initiatives, and organizational updates, including technical communications, are effectively conveyed to stakeholders, fostering alignment, engagement, and successful adoption across the organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Communication Strategies: Develop, manage, and execute communication strategies that align with business functions and organizational objectives
- Business Process Change Enablement: Support change management efforts by preparing and delivering communication plans that drive awareness, alignment, and adoption
- Communication Measurement: Identify and analyze the effectiveness of the communication strategies through surveys, engagement metrics, and business feedback
- Writing Methodology: Establish writing methodology and strategies to ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across all communications
- Communication Management and Continuous Improvement: Oversees the communication review cycle to maintain accuracy, relevance, effectiveness, and timeliness of all communications
- Channel Management: Manage communication channels (e.g., intranet, email, MS Teams, SharePoint) to ensure timely delivery and accessibility of information
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with leaders, process owners, and business units to understand communication needs and tailor messaging to specific audiences
- Training Support: Partner with FCS Training to integrate communication strategies into training programs, ensuring clarity and adoption across Flight Center leaders and team members

- Proficiency with email platforms, intranet systems, and collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.)
- Demonstrates executive presence and ability to influence at the senior levels of the organization
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading with the ability to tailor messages for appropriate audiences
- Familiarity with process documentation and tools (Lucid, Miro, Visio, etc.) to translate process into clear messaging
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Works well in cross-functional and diverse team environments
