Purpose of Position

The Compliance Planning & Projects Specialist, Sr. (CPPS, Sr.) is a lead member of the Flight Operations, Technical and Compliance Programs team. The Compliance Planning & Projects Specialist, Sr. is responsible for compliance with new rules and/or regulations affecting both domestic and international flight operations. The CPPS, Sr. is responsible for maintaining the NJA OpSpecs and MSspecs Parts A, B, and C via the appropriate FAA portal system. The CPPS, Sr. is also responsible for maintaining NetJets' foreign operator certificates and permits, and ensuring NetJets' continued authorization to fly in all regions across the world. The CPPS, Sr. formulates and institutes project plans, utilizing designated stakeholder resources to meet compliance or capability timelines established by regulatory authorities or in support of company goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Direct and manage OpSpec/MSpec amendments, prepare new fleet onboarding checklist, participate in OSWG, partner with Mx & QC with spec overlaps and deliverables
•    Maintain current sets of OpSpecs & Mspecs, post on Comply
•    Organize and facilitate meetings with regulatory bodies and inspectors
•    Continuously monitor industry and government sources for information of potential impacts to NetJets’ requirements for complying with applicable U.S. and foreign regulations and operational specifications
•    Evaluate upcoming changes to regulations or technical specifications and prepare written summary of pertinent information and analyses for use by operations management  
•    Support internal audit surveillance as required by NetJets’ FAA-approved Safety Management System (SMS)
•    Acquire/manage TCOs (EASA, UK, Canada, etc.)
•    Acquire/manage certain CAA permit/license renewals (CI semiannual, BVI semiannual, Bahamas annual, Mexico annual)
•    Support/prompt ITP with documentation for Greek & Italy TCOs, Bermuda permit renewals/updates
•    Report fleet/aircraft additions/removals w/required information
•    Regulatory & Compliance Research: Conduct research in support of compliance decision making 
•    Compliance Programs Project Management: Manages the Global Operational Capabilities Roadmap (GOCR) and assists with project tracking and prepares status updates, and ensures projects remain on track using internal project management tools
•    Preparation of reports, presentations, or other documentation, and maintenance of files related to compliance activities and programs
