Purpose of Position

The Indirect Tax Supervisor will supervise the preparation of indirect tax returns and payments including property tax, sales, use and gross receipts; review business license applications and renewals and ensure required tax filings are filed timely.  

Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop, improve and streamline processes and procedures for indirect tax return compliance.
Proactively identify indirect tax filing requirements based on Company’s footprint and business activities in state and local jurisdictions.
Respond to correspondence and inquiries from tax authorities and resolve outstanding issues.
Manage, support and develop indirect tax staff.

5+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to recognize, understand and analyze indirect tax issues.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Robust computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
Action and results oriented.
