Purpose of Position
The Manager, Internal Audit leads the development and execution of the Company’s annual internal audit plan, including but not limited to: various audits identified and planned based on risk assessment performed, testing and evaluation of internal control systems; verification of the accuracy and reliability of accounting data; adherence to established policies and procedures; assurance that adequate controls are in place; coordination with external auditors; and quarterly SOX controls reporting requirements. The Manager, Internal Audit performs special projects as requested by the Director, Internal Audit, Management, and the Audit Committee. The Manager, Internal Audit may require occasional travel. The Manager, Internal Auditor acts in a lead capacity, including but not limited to: performing detail review for audit work completed by junior team members, mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members, developing a periodic audit plan and programs, providing consultation support to key business stakeholders, driving continuous improvements and developing innovative audit solutions, conducting ad hoc projects, and supporting the entity’s enterprise risk management program.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Champions innovative ideas that allow for increased operating effectiveness and efficiencies throughout the NetJets organization.
- Leads the audit team in performing risk assessment, developing audit plans, preparation and review of audit work, coaching of team members, leading audit interviews/conferences, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the work performed. Further, leads efforts for reporting audit results, including preparation of materials for audit committee meetings.
- Acts as a subject matter expert, provides consultation to the business and leads ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Executes special projects at the direction of the Director, Internal Audit.
- Performs and reviews management testing with respect to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements which includes monthly balance sheet variance analysis, interim and year-end compliance testing and quarterly internal control certification.
- Evaluates compliance with various Company policies

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) frameworks, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Accountancy, preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), preferred.
