Purpose of Position

Responsible for end-to-end management of NetJets owned Component parts. Expedite the recovery of parts from FBOs and work centers to NetJets warehouses. Manage the creation or repair orders, quote approval, and repair authorizations. Ensure parts are shipped and inducted into repair. Manage the repair cycle through the repair vendors and expedite the return of serviceable parts to NetJets inventory. Key responsibilities include managing inventory and demand, ensuring timely repairs, coordinating with technical teams and vendors, managing budgets, and implementing best practices to support operational efficiency and customer needs. Manage 5 direct reports.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Inventory & Demand Management: Maintain optimal levels of rotable inventory to meet demand from internal and external customers by monitoring historical data and current requests.

Repair Coordination: Organize and manage the repair process for rotable components, ensuring repairs are completed according to standards and timeframes.

Vendor Management: Manage vendors’ performance to ensure they are meeting service level agreements.

Budget & Resource Management: Forecast, develop and manage budgets for component repair operations.

Process Improvement: Implement and monitor best practices and procedures for the repair and re-use of components to improve efficiency and quality.

Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on component repair activities, vendor performance, costs, and inventory levels for management review.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as technical ops, engineering, maintenance control, maintenance planning and material planning to identify issues and implement solutions.

Education

Bachelor's in Supply Chain and Logistics or related field
