Purpose of Position

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for day‑to‑day execution of a large scale, global ERP implementation across the United States and Europe. Reporting to the Product Delivery Director, and in partnership with a top-tier system integrator, this role ensures milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget through disciplined project management, cross‑functional coordination, proactive risk management, and best practice methodologies. The Project Manager is the primary operational coordinator across business, IT, and System Integration teams.  The ideal candidate combines technical and functional understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP or similar global applications with strong program governance, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership experience in complex, multinational environments.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage project-level ERP plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical path items, in alignment with overall ERP program governance.
  • Coordinate project execution activities across functional, technical, data, testing, and change management work streams to ensure alignment with program milestones and timely execution
  • Collaborate with functional and technical leads to understand impacts, remove blockers, and coordinate resolution of cross-work stream issues; escalate when needed
  • Track and report project status (schedule, scope, budget, and key deliverables), highlighting variances, trends, and corrective actions for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate core project governance (stand-ups, work stream leads) publish agendas and minutes, drive decisions, and ensure action-item follow-through.
  • Proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), ensuring owners, due dates, mitigation plans, and timely escalation.
  • Manage system integrator and vendor coordination, including task tracking, deliverable reviews, acceptance readiness, and adherence to the master schedule utilizing agreed delivery methodologies
  • Maintain project artifacts including the schedule, RAID log, decision log, status reports, and dependency tracking; ensure version control and audit ability
  • Partner with Change Management teams to ensure effective communication, training, and user adoption.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • 2 + full life cycle ERP implementations with direct involvement in execution (Finance Focused preferred, Record-to-Report, AP, Procurement)
  • Proven experience working with top-tier System Integrators (IBM, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, etc.) in a delivery leadership role
  • Demonstrated success delivering programs across multiple regions (US & EU)
  • Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP reporting requirements
  • Strong program or project experience with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills; able to interact and collaborate with technical resources and influence people on cross-functional teams
  • Ability to navigate both functional and technical conversations confidently
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience.
  • Passion for effective processes and methodologies that will improve productivity for the organization
  • Ability to own and drive issues to resolution; good time management skills and a clear sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills
  • Excellent attention to details, strong documentation skills; written, reporting/analyst and diagrams/workflows.
