Purpose of Position

The Risk Analyst, Associate duties and responsibilities will focus primarily on the administrative tasks of the Risk Management department that are essential to accomplishing the goals of managing NetJets total costs of risks.  Communication, Reporting and Transactional requests will have highest priority within this position on a recurring basis.  Relationships will be developed with insurance brokers, insurance underwriters, as well as with various team members within NetJets.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Major Duties/Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

 
25% - Certificate Compliance: Oversight of the certificate management process for all companies and demonstrate the ability to implement new processes and change when needed. Additional duties include reviewing documents for accuracy, document compliance, understanding and explaining insurance coverages shown on certificates and tracking of where documents are being maintained throughout the company.   Claims Administration: Assists with claims handling and reporting of non-aviation incidents. Duties include gathering relevant information to file a claim, preparing demand letter for claims, working with individual business units to ensure the claim process and procedure document is being followed, maintaining files for aviation and non-aviation claims when they occur.

25% - Claims Administration: Assists with claims handling and reporting of non-aviation incidents. Duties include gathering relevant information for Risk Manager to file a claim, preparing demand letter for 3rd party claims, working with individual business units to ensure the claim process and procedure document is being followed, maintaining files for 3rd party and non-aviation claims when they occur.

20% - Education and Communication: Assist Risk Manager with training Owners and Business Units so they understand the methodology and their role as it relates to risk management operations.  For Owners, this includes explaining owner interest endorsement or certificate of insurance and the information in the insurance frequently asked questions documents as well as providing guidance on claim reporting to NetJets.  For NetJets business units this includes maintaining and updating internal insurance reports, manuals and policies, assisting in organizing and planning for annual insurance forums, assisting with preparing training material when requested and organizing feedback sessions for continual improvement of risk management trainings or policies and procedures.

20% - Other Duties: Maintain and update department SharePoint site, facilitate loss control risk assessments and assist Risk Management in all reporting requirements by gathering useful and relevant information and ensuring the data source is reliable.  Process and track monthly and annual insurance invoices; oversight of the addition and removal of QS Partner aircraft from insurance policy and assisting on aviation claims as needed.

10% - Special projects:  Involvement with special projects involving or sponsored by the Risk Management department.
