Purpose of Position
The Standards Director is responsible for the development, implementation and assessment of NetJets SOPs. They are responsible for the checking and development of the SDPs in their specific fleet. The Director, Standards is responsible for ensuring that our training vendors are adhering to our operating principles and procedures and provide feedback to our training department.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Leading the Check Airman and Training Captains on established company standards and compliance with FAA regulations and guidelines.
• Responsible for ensuring the team meets training and checking objectives.
• Training audits to ensure compliance with all applicable FAA notices, 8900.10 Guidance, and other NJA Operating policies for the NJA FAA approved Training Program. In addition, oversees all training vendor audits to ensure complete compliance for both NetJets and regulatory agency requirements.
• Collaborating with other departments to facilitate changes to the AOM. Represent individual fleets in AOM stakeholders meetings.
• Developing communication avenues for the SDPs in a group setting creating an atmosphere of collaboration and standardization.
• Qualify new (supplemental dusty position) SDPs in their respective roles. Audit SDPs ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate training scenarios ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
